Blockchain & Cybersecurity

February 11 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm UTC-5

As government agencies continue operating on outdated systems, and the IoT ties more essential services together, the potential for a catastrophic situation increases. Legacy machines remain a part of our government and military operations, inviting hackers to look for weaknesses. Threats range from a simple lack of expertise to fix a piece of hardware, to a potential security breach. Cybersecurity takes on a whole new menace when city systems, voting systems, and essential services can be hacked. A piece of hardware or software going haywire could precipitate a full-on, nationwide crisis.

Join us as we discuss recent cybersecurity hacks and how blockchain and cryptocurrency can be used by law enforcement, national security professionals, criminals, and terrorists. Learn about the attack vectors, precautions, and response to attacks. This event will include blockchain and cybersecurity experts with real-world experience.
