Organizations around the world are building blockchain solutions. However, they are being built on various technologies, by different groups with different standards. Will they be able to interoperate? And, what about the technical limitations and constraints. Will blockchain-based solutions scale for global markets? Join us for an online discussion about this topic. Find out how the GBA’s Government Business Blockchain Platform will be able to offer solutions to this complex set of problems.

Speakers include:

  • Mark Waser. is the CTO of GBA. He has forked & enhanced PIVX; Created numerous web-based utilities and bots for Steemit; Developed and enhanced several contracts for Ethereum (not to mention over 30 years of experience in AI, machine learning, business intelligence, and human decision-making). Mr. Waser is particularly interested in the intersection of collective intelligence, the blockchain, and pro-social decision-making.
  • Mitja Goroshevsky – Mr. Goroshevsky is the CTO of Ton Labs, an organization committed to building a truly decentralized internet that delivers security, trust, data ownership, censorship resistance and privacy. He has been Creating software systems in distributed computing area for more than 20 years. He is the co-author of patents in serverless and blockchain space. He has developed Ripple and Ethereum -based systems before moving to TON to create the first blockchain Operating System.
  • Daveed Benjamin is an American technologist and children’s writer. But his most important identifier is Papa. Since attaining his BS and MS in Engineering at Stanford, he has had leadership roles in startups, nonprofits, and social enterprises in emergent fields. As a “Shift Shaper,” his work focuses on the collective wisdom and altering systems of consciousness for positive impact. Daveed worked on decentralization in the early 2000s focusing on energy, food, and water and on building local economies. In the early 2010s, he co-founded and co-created an award-winning purpose-driven, extended reality children’s property called Pacha’s Pajamas that features Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Cheech Marin. Now as a founder of WisdomTech startups Bridgit & Skōōl and the OverWeb Foundation, Daveed’s focus is decentralizing knowledge & building collective intelligence.  Daveed is a Royal Society of the Arts Fellow, Active Dreaming teacher, SoulCollage® Facilitator, Green For All fellow, Founder Gym graduate, and a Warm Data Labs host.
