The State of Cryptocurrency Laws & Regulations

Please join the GBA Mining & Cryptocurrency Working Group on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 3:00 to 5:00 PM (New York) as we discuss cryptocurrency, wallets, exchanges, rules, regulations, and government policies.
In August we will be discussing the new bitcoin law that makes cryptocurrency legal tender in El Salvador. We will also be talking about the state of regulation in the United States, and other legal and regulatory issues impacting cryptocurrency. We will also be talking about the US Infrastructure Bill related to cryptocurrency. It should be an interesting & exciting online event.
- Bill Rockwood – Deputy Legislative Director for Congressmen Darren Soto, Co-Chair of the US House Congressional Blockchain Caucus. Mr. Rockwood also serves as the Executive Director, US House of Representatives Future Forum. In these capacities, he has been at the cutting edge of legislation and regulation for the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem. His in-depth knowledge and commitment to the future have made him a key leader in this space. He will be sharing his perspective on the current and future state of blockchain and cryptocurrency legislation and regulation.
Silvio Frank Pupo-Casco – South & Central Americal Regional Lead, Government Blockchain Association (GBA). Mr. Frank Pupo-Casco is responsible for all GBA chapters in Central and South America. In that capacity, he interfaces with government and business leaders across the region.
- Nabeel Malik – President, Cryptolitics. His company is dedicated to facilitating analytics and discussions on current crypto events. Recent trends have proven that digital currency is a global phenomenon. He is also an investor, public speaker, miner, and cryptocurrency portfolio consultant. He is also a GBA Certified Blockchain Instructor. Additionally, he is a subject matter expert in digital currency and specializes in mining, setting up bitcoin ATM machines, conducting ICO research and development, taxes, and state compliance around digital currency. Most importantly, he provides up-to-date intel on digital currency that is relevant in today’s market.
