The World Business Angel Investment Forum, WBAforum will host the GBA Blockchain, Innovation, & Economic Growth Symposium/ Pitch Competition on Tuesday of Government Blockchain Week.
National governments have a responsibility to foster and develop economic growth and security. Learn from national leaders as they explain how blockchain technology is and can be used to:
- Collection, analyze, and report economic data
- Support economic development
- Support the stewardship of natural resources
- Manage intellectual property
They will explain how to utilize the new tools that are available through blockchain and how blockchain can support commerce and constitutional democracy.
The event will include a small business pitch competition.
Members of the GBA Investors and Start-Up Community will be given an opportunity to present their business plans and ideas to potential investors and customers for monetary awards and business opportunities. The pitch competition is for small businesses that have solutions that support one or more of the goals above. More details will be provided towards the end of the year.
Contestants will be ranked in points of 1-5 on:
