The Government Blockchain Association (GBA) is happy to announce that Earl Warrington has accepted our offer to lead the GBA Acquisition Management Working Group. Mr. Warrington is a Sr. Agency Expert, Industry Liaison, Sr. Supply Chain and Risk Manager & Fair Opportunity, Monitor for the US General Services Administration. Mr. Warrington has worked for the GSA for over twenty years. In his current role he provides thought leadership, strategic vision, and innovative insights to integrating, planning and executing processes required to optimize the flow of materials, information, and identified financial capital in the areas that broadly include demand planning, sourcing, production, service, and risk management and identifying excess capacity to be consumed government-wide.
Mr. Warrington is taking the role over from Gustavo A. Calderon, who started the group and help build it. He will continue to be a part of the group and will help to transition the duties over to Mr. Warrington. These gentlemen and all of the high-calibre blockchain professionals will continue to connect, communicate and collaborate so that governments around the world and at all levels can use blockchain technology to find solutions and improve the lives of the people governed by our institutions.
